In Development

A slapstick puzzle-comedy where you try to make it through the day as an engineer aboard a trawler... with unconventional means.

Overview

Trust Me, I'm an Engineer is a narrative puzzle-adventure set on the maiden voyage of a fish trawler staffed by lovable frauds.

You play Karagiozis nudging props, rerouting pipes, and orchestrating happy accidents in hopes of making everything work.

Staged like a live Karagiozis puppet show, each scene is a compact puzzle: read the room, exploit character flaws, and trigger chain reactions that steer the story (and the ship) away from disaster.

Gameplay

How it plays

Indirect problem-solving: manipulate the set, not the puppets. Rewire, jam, prop, and time actions from the wings.

Character-driven puzzles: every crewmate has a flaw — weaponize it to create solutions they’ll take credit for.

Staged scenes: bite-sized levels with theatrical “beats,” optional objectives, and playful reactivity from an in-world audience.

Physical comedy sandbox: hinges, hoses, switches, and slapstick chain reactions that reward tinkering.
